Program Inclusions

When your delegates are ready for some fun after the serious stuff is over, or if you are looking for something special to incorporate into your program, Darwin and surrounds offer activities with a difference.

Fishing Safari

Fishing on Darwin Harbour

Give your delegates an ultimate Top End experience — fishing! Catch one of the world’s greatest sporting fish, the barramundi, or let your delegates formulate an impressive story about “the one that got away”. Enjoy a day of fishing on Darwin’s pristine harbour as experienced and knowledgeable crew take you to some of the Top End’s best spots.

Litchfield National Park

Termite Mounds, Litchfield National Park

Just one and a half hours drive from Darwin is Litchfield National Park, home to weathered sandstone escarpments, patches of monsoon rainforest, perennial spring- fed streams, permanent crystal- clear waterholes, spectacular waterfalls, intriguing ‘magnetic’ termite mounds and historic ruins.

Tiwi Islands Aboriginal Cultural Tour

Tiwi Islands Culture

Depart from Darwin Airport for the Tiwi Islands for an experience rich in aboriginal culture and history. Visit the community of Nguiu, the museum and the old mission precinct and enjoy morning tea with the Tiwi ladies. Visit workshops of artefacts, pottery or screen printed fabrics. Visit the Topari Waterfall for lunch and a swim before heading to a Tiwi burial site where you will learn about one of the most important aspects of the Aboriginal culture.

Harbour Cruises

Sailing on Darwin Harbour

The fiery red sunsets and calm waters make cruising Darwin Harbour a must-do experience.  Learn a little of Darwin’s history or simply soak up the atmosphere and warm tropical breeze with a glass of sparkling and nibbles or sit down to a gourmet three course dinner.

Territory Wildlife Park

Frilled Neck Lizard

A unique opportunity to take a walk on the wild side awaits you just 40 minutes drive south of Darwin at the Territory Wildlife Park. Set within 400 hectares of natural bushland including wetlands, monsoon forest and open woodland, visitors explore the park on shuttle trains or wander along bush trails.  Discover the magnificent raptors at the Flight deck, encounter the creatures of the night in the nocturnal house, hand feed a Barramundi or take a journey through a Top End river system at the aquarium.

Jumping Crocodile Cruise

Jumping Crocodile Cruise, Adelaide River

Adelaide River is home to some 16,000 crocodiles, including the famous jumping crocodiles. You will watch fascinated as these awesome creatures slide menacingly from the mud banks and swim almost without a ripple towards the scent of food. In a flash of spray they leap from the water to take the food offered and then slip noiselessly away to enjoy the spoils.

Berry Springs Nature Park

Berry Springs Nature Park

This perfect swimming spot is only 45 minutes from Darwin city, near the Territory Wildlife Park.  Berry Springs has shaded picnic and barbecue areas and kids can spot fish and other aquatic life in the clear pools.  During World War II, Berry Springs was part of a rest and recreation camp set up by the armed forces for the 100,000 personnel based in the area.
