Simpson Desert expedition

Spend some time in the heart of the Simpson Desert experiencing the outback while being a guest in a remote Aboriginal community. Accommodation will be in deluxe safari tents with polished wood floors and eco-friendly ensuites. Guests can spend their days “going bush” with the local Aboriginal traditional owners, visiting amazing desert landscapes and learning the daily survival knowledge of the oldest living culture in the world. On their return home, they will collect bush tucker to complement their gourmet evening meal.

A night under the stars

Shortly before sundown, your guests will enjoy a glass of fine Australian sparkling wine or premium beer as they watch the surrounding red rock faces glow in the setting sun. In the coarse sand of the dry river that flows through the gap, tables will be set with white linen and crystal that sparkles in the flickering light of candles. Throughout the evening guests will enjoy a section of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra playing the classics in this natural amphitheatre with perfect acoustics.
